Volunteering

Making a world of difference to you and your community

Healthy Valleys offers communities the opportunity to make a real difference to their health and wellbeing, by involving local people in identifying, shaping and delivering services and activities.

We are always looking for people who want to give up a few hours of their time, on a regular or ad-hoc basis, to support the many programmes and activities we run, as well as to help with events or even to assist in the office.

We train, support and reward our volunteers, including paying for any out-of-pocket expenses including mileage. We have a tried and tested recruitment process for volunteers to ensure you are given an opportunity which best meets your reasons for volunteering. There will be a wide variety of training and personal development opportunities available to you.
